My name is Rosalind Sandhu-Cartlich and I am an Independent Art Curator. I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2014 with a MA in Contemporary Curating and previously a BA Visual Theories in Italian Renaissance.  I frequently visit Stoke-on-Trent, taking in the beautiful countryside and views that are never that far away from the creativity of the city.

I will be moving to Stoke as a result and that way I can enjoy the museums and cultural history. I aim to collaborate with artistic organisations to add a contemporary creativity to Stoke-on-Trent’s already expanding artistic scene. I look forward to exploring forgotten urban spaces to celebrate Stoke’s history with the contemporary.

This is an exciting time for Stoke-on-Trent with its nomination for The City of Culture 2021, and I am delighted to get behind the bid by taking part in the cultural creativity that this city brings.
